Markus Ilgner - Big Gorilla Alien Wolf Monster (Bonzai Basiks)

After a couple of years producing quietly in his little studio Markus got the attention of nobody less than Jens Lissat himself who asked him to remix some
of his productions. Under the alias TACHIONES Markus released some remixes on labels like Toolroom, Perctraxx and others.

Not much later Markus bumped into an old friend: Timo Manson who offered Markus to release is first very own EP which was released on MusicCity Rec. Soon after that Markus music could be found on the label Audiodevot.

After that things happened very fast. His following album with the title Antitoxin reached the top 30 on Beatport. Almost at the same moment he released his album Etektronic Rush under the disguise The Sons Of Mr Miygai. With all these tremendous releases it was no wonder that Markus suddenly got to play in many events as solo artist as well as under the project Sons Of Mr Miygai. He performed on Ruhr In Love in Oberhausen and in Clubs like Toy in Stuttgart and at Houskeeper. After many successful productions Markus ultimate dream came true: a release on one of the legendary Bonzai labels which pushed him onto a new level of production quality.

Markus does not like to be categorized and tagged but rather prefers to surprise music-lovers and fans with a brand new sound experience with each release. He loves to blend new sounds and technology with his love for the sound of long past days.

Markus makes music for the single listener and not for the masses!

Sohan - Adi Shakti (AU Records)

And we go dark again… AU Black is proud to present Sohan’s “Adi Shakti”, a single containing the original version and two remixes, one by Zalaz and the other by Izato, Black Catalog’s Main A&R.

In the original, Sohan revives the feeling of old school tribal percussion and vocals, revealing its power after the build ups, along with the carefully chosen pad synths for the breakdowns.

Zalaz did an excellent job, making his track fluent and listener friendly by developing a brilliant sequence of delays on some percussion elements and synth sounds. This is an excellent example of underground dark music capable of pleasing a broader audience.

Izato’s approach kept the darkness and added a new school feeling to it, induced by his minimalistic yet effective percussion, beautiful distorted guitar effects and a carefully thought structure. It is a remarkable work in terms of synthesis and on how to achieve complex and nice sounding build ups thru it.

Patrik Prelovsky - MiniJazz (Eyepatch Recordings)

Born in Czech Republic in 1983. I started to play vinyls in 2001 age 17.

At that time I was focusing mainly on techno following guys like Carola, Liebing, Kanzyani, Umek. Every beginning is hard but with patience and a lot of hard work I am now in the position of playing around the brightest clubs and venues in the Czech Republic

I was actively involved in a tour sponsored by Sony Ericsson that promoting a DJ school this way I was able to play on the most famous festivals happening in the Czech Republic (Hard House, Summer Of Love, Rock For People, Hip Hop Camp)

Ever since software solutions have made their entrance into every DJs Studio I also thought of making my own music seen the situation of the market where the demand for classic DJs is decreasing.

After some trial and error I finally landed the right track which got picked up by Eyepatch Recordings in 2011.

The Idem - Non Bis In Idem EP (Progrez)

The Idem had her first contact with electronic music production at the age of 18 with the well-known Reason and quickly noticed that this was a wide and wonderful world, beginning to create her own rhythms and grooves in the styles Hardtechno and Techno-house which was what she liked at the time. Unfortunately the deal never happened due to the bad situation in which the music market was in at the time.

Age 23 she begins to build a small studio and buys the famous Ableton Live and some powerful synthesizer and starts again to create many tracks an loops that remained unfinished as she was not satisfied of their sound.

Now, age 25 after long and hard work to get the sound to be what she wants it to be her first EP gets released referring to her stage name: Non Bis In Idem

The Idems style when creating music ranges from Progressive House, Deep Tech-House, Minimal Tech-House, Electro House always with a personal touch from Deep Electronic Music.

Influences: Jean Michelle Jarre, Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Sasha, Fedde le Grand, Paul Oakenfold, Deadmau5, Marco Bailey, Radio Slave, Trentemoller, Booka Shade, Mauro Picotto, Cristian Varela, Deep Dish, Steve Lawler, Danny Tenaglia, Ben Sims, Henry Saiz, Marc Marzenith, Paco Osuna, Oscar Mulero, Loco Dice, Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Guy Gerber, Robert Babicz, Dave Clarke, Chris Liebing, Aril Brikha, Axwell, Alex Under, Timo Maas, Clode and many more.
